  • The 148649 USB adapter must be used in conjunction with 148519 (RJ11 foot pedal) for proper operation into your computer.
  • To use with Dictaphone TransNet, Dictaphone Boomerang or Dictaphone STNE (Straight Talk NE Model EST07-444) transcription software you must verify that your software has USB foot pedal capability.
  • Typically in the Dictaphone transcription program you will have an option for foot pedal setup.
  • Older versions of these programs may not be compatible.

I purchased both USB transcription foot pedal adapters, the Dictaphone 148649 and the less expensive comparable adapter, ECS 148649. There is no difference, both of them work excellent.
