The VoiceTech system can be set up to copy the configuration of an existing dictation system. If the author is familiar with dictating on a Dictaphone System, the VoiceTech can copy the keypad commands and other parameters allowing the author no interruption when a new system is installed. This will allow for minimum or in most cases no author training at all.

- OutDIAL Software (All Ports)
OutDIAL is designed to replace the function known as “re-record”. Unlike other methods that are manual, user intensive and require a specific vendor's product, OutDIAL provides the capability to automatically OutDIAL or call another remote device. Remote device must be be able to answer on a standard telephone line and may be either analog or digital. When the remote device answers, the VoiceTech converts its digitally stored, binary management data associated with a dictated report into voice annotated form, plays ALL of that management information as “header” information and then plays the associated report. At end of each report a command is sent to remote device that the VoiceTech is starting the next job. This continues until “Script” is done.
- L.E.E.C.H. Software (All Ports)
Re-record from a remote digital system on up to eight ports simultaneously. To L.E.E.C.H. work automatically from another digital dictation system the administrator will: 1. Tell the system how to communicate with the remote dictation system, 2. Tell the system which port to utilize, 3. Dials ANY Digital System (except Lanier), 4. Extracts work from that system, 5. Automatically downloads it into the VoiceTech system. Work could then be transcribed or OutDialed.

Author can put a report on hold. When author calls again the open report is automatically sent to author. Report will not be released for transcription until author completes it. Monitor and close reports from the management terminal, if required. The Open Report feature can also be used to mark a report as open if the author wishes to access a report that they already dictated.

Reports can be automatically routed by work type, author ID, location code, record number, etc. to a specific transcriptionist. Transcriptionist can (if you let them) select their own work by author, work type, job number or first-in first-out basis.

Archive by any single or multiple ID variables or by percentage of disk capability. When dictation is deleted off the system management information on the reports is archived. The Archival Report allows you to retrieve the information by author, work type, job number, transcriptionist, etc. later.

List all transcribed reports currently on the system or you can search by author, work type, job, transcriptionist, status, date and time transcribed, etc. This report provides author ID, work type, job, transcriptionist ID, date and time dictated, date and time transcribed, turnaround time (actual time transcriptionist was in the report), total turnaround time (the elapsed time from when the author completed the report until the transcriptionist completed it), etc.
