This Demo Model Lanier Transcriber is a 4 track standard cassette transcription machine and features 3 speeds for transcribing, LCD tape counter and 3 function foot control. Other features include built-in playback speaker, built-in erase on rewind and speed, tone, volume and auto backspace controls.

Standard Cassette System

Uses easy to obtain standard cassettes for playback convenience

3 Speed

4.8cm (normal speed), 2.4cm (half speed) and 1.2cm (quarter speed) and on up to four tracks simultaneously

LCD tape counter

Used for transcribing in minutes and tenths of minutes

Built-In Playback Speaker

Atop the unit is useful when one or more persons wishes to listen to the recording, without the need to wear earphones

Built-In Erase on Rewind

May be activated to automatically erase recordings while rewinding the cassette

Cassette Window

Enables user to view tape movement

3-Function Foot Control

Lets the transcriber change mode from Play to Rewind to Fast-Forward without removing hands from the keyboard

Speed/Tone/Volume/Auto-Backspace Controls

Are individual slider-type to allow easy one-finger adjustment for transcribing convenience
