ECS PowerRecord Recording Software - New

PowerRecord is automatic recording software for Windows.  Please see drop down menus for additional options to go with PowerRecord Software.

PowerRecord is designed to record a multitude of ways. Here are just a few examples:

1. Telephone Recording - Using a telephone record adapter that goes between the handset and phone. Recommended model is ECS-DPRC.  It is very important to note that the telephone record adapter must be designed for use with a personal computer sound card.  Recording will start and stop automatically when phone is picked up and hung up.  You also can manually start and stop recording.
    
2. Telephone Recording - Using a telephone record adapter that plugs directly into any standard analog RJ-11 wall jack. Recommended model is ECS-DUPR.  It is very important to note that the telephone record adapter must be designed for use with a personal computer sound card.  Recording will start and stop automatically when phone is picked up and hung up.  You also can manually start and stop recording.
3. Conference Recording - Using a conference microphone that has a 3.5mm male plug. Recommended models are ECS-ECM3.5 and ECS-EPM3.5. Microphone power is supplied by the computer.  Recording will start and stop automatically when audio is present or not present.  You also can manually start and stop recording.
4. Re-Recording - Typically this is re-recording cassette audio to a digital format. Recommended model is ECS-PC1. 

PowerPlayer Audio Transcription Software available from www.tvps.com will allow you to digitally transcribe these recorded audio files with a computer foot pedal and headset.
