Returns Policy

  • To initiate a Return request please fill out our Service Request Form.
  • For selected products Executive Communication Systems offers a 30-day money back guarantee that are purchased from our website within our guidelines.
  • Dictation recorders (analog and digital), Desktop dictation/transcription and dictation/transcription accessories are the only items available for return. Items that come with serialized software are not returnable. No other product will be approved for return. "Demo", "Refurbished" and "Pre-owned" products are not returnable. All sales are final.
  • No product return will be accepted without an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) number. Any package received without an RMA may be refused and may be subjected to a 15% restocking fee. No products are accepted for return after 30 days from original order ship date. All items must be returned new in the original packaging. Any product received damaged, incomplete or not in new condition will be subjected to a minimum of a 15% restocking fee. The percentage of restocking fee may vary depending on the condition of return. 
  • The customer is responsible for notifying Executive Communication Systems if a product is received damaged within 24 hours of receipt so that a claim for the damaged item can be filed. All original packaging must be retained for claim purposes.
  • The customer is responsible for shipping any requested for return product(s) back to Executive Communication Systems. Customer agrees to pay all shipping charges and accepts all risk of loss for the return product(s) during shipment. Customer agrees that all approved for return products will be returned 100% complete, in re-saleable condition. Any items received after the 30-day return period will be refused. Return authorization numbers are valid for up to 10 days. 
  • Original order shipping charges will not be refunded back.
  • Please allow 5-7 business days for your return to be processed. The refund to your credit card account may take up to 30 days to appear. Refunds to PayPal account normally appear in 1 to 2 business days.
  • International orders are not returnable.

Shipping

  • Orders placed before 5:00 PM EST normally ship that same business day (excluding holidays and weekends)
  • Orders ship from Ventura, California.
  • Expected shipment arrival time depends on your location.

Saturday and Sunday do not count as business days to FedEx.

Sunday does not count as a business day to USPS.

  • FedEx 2nd Day Saturday (2 days delivery on Saturday.)
  • FedEx Standard Overnight (next business day by 3:00pm.)
  • FedEx Priority Overnight (next business day by 10:30am)
  • FedEx Priority Overnight Saturday (next day by 10:30am delivery on Saturday depending on your area)
  • FedEx First Overnight (next business day by 8:30am depending on your area)
  • FedEx First Overnight Saturday (next day by 8:30am delivery on Saturday depending on your area)
  • USPS Priority (Usually 2-3 business days - USPS does not guarantee transit time - visit  www.usps.gov)
  • *USPS Priority Mail International (PMI) (Usually 6-10 business days - USPS does not guarantee transit time - visit  www.usps.gov)  Tracking is not available for USPS Priority Mail International (PMI)
  • *USPS Express Mail International (EMI) (Usually 3-5 Business Days - USPS does not guarantee transit time - visit  www.usps.com)
