The microphone arrived quickly, and I was immediately impressed with its sleek design and build quality. The gooseneck design allowed me to adjust the microphone to the perfect angle for recording, and the uni-directional microphone minimized background noise, resulting in clear and precise recordings.
The first thing I noticed was that the base of this mic is really sturdy. My previous mic like this would fall over constantly and I have no issues of that with the ECS GN-1. The recoding quality is excellent and I use it to voice over videos I've made and you would definitely think it was a more expensive microphone for how crisp the audio records.
