The LX-1009-M is a small, lightweight adapter designed to work with any single or multi-line modular telephone, connecting it to a tape recorder or transcription device. It’s an ideal solution for capturing both sides of a phone conversation.
Compact enough to fit in your hand, the LX-1009-M features a modular receiver plug on one end and a coiled connector cord on the other. It installs easily between your phone base and handset—no hard wiring required. Simply unplug your handset, connect the LX-1009-M’s 3.5mm coiled cord, then plug your handset cord into the adapter’s modular receiver jack.
Finally, connect a separate audio cable from the LX-1009-M’s 3.5mm output to the microphone input of your recorder or transcription machine. That’s all there is to it.
